At the Valparaiso Alternative Middle School, we pride ourselves in offering a non-traditional learning environment where our students are instructed in academic materials and valuable life skills.  Students spend a portion of every day learning problem solving, conflict resolution, Cotillion manners, and other life skills.  The remainder of their school day is spent in state standardized academic classes.
