Ethanol is an alcohol-based fuel made by fermenting corn and other crops. The use of Ethanol will reduce the dependance of foreign oil and reduce greenhouse gasses. It is domestically produced. It has less pollutants. It is only used in flex-fueled vechicles. It has fewer miles per gallon. There is limited availability. It is expensive to produce.
